About BetSharp

BetSharp compares odds from 6 US sportsbooks and the Kalshi prediction market side by side, so you can see where the best number is.

Where the numbers come from

We check each sportsbook and Kalshi about every 10 minutes for games in the next day, and less often further out (hourly to every few hours), and we keep every price change, which is what powers the line movement charts and price histories. Player props are checked for games in the next two days.

Moves and price history

A small arrow next to a price means that book moved it in the last 6 hours, by at least a point of implied chance or a change of line: blue when the market moved toward that side (shortening), orange when it moved away (drifting). The table icon next to a selection opens its price history: every change, book by book, newest first. Kalshi reprices a cent at a time, so its changes show once they add up to a point. The line moves page lists the games whose consensus has moved most, since we first priced them or in the last 24 hours, with the sportsbooks' median line then and now and how many of them moved.

Your books

The Books button at the top lets you pick the sportsbooks you use. The odds tables then show only those, and the best price (gold) is the best among them. The choice is saved in your browser only; we don't see it.

Results and closing lines

Each sport's results page shows the final scores against the closing lines: the spread and total most books closed at, whether the favorite covered, and how the market's no-vig favorite did. The season records pages add these up for every team: against the spread (at home, away, as favorite and as underdog) and over / under. Closing lines are each book's last prices before the start. We started collecting prices on 22 October 2026; for games earlier this season we have closing prices only, from fewer books, with no line movement or player props.

Soccer

We cover the Premier League, Champions League and Europa League from DraftKings, FanDuel, BetRivers, Fanatics, bet365 and Kalshi. BetMGM isn't included for soccer yet. Soccer prices are for the 90 minutes plus stoppage time, so the moneyline has three outcomes: home win, draw and away win. Spreads include Asian handicaps.

Kalshi prices

Kalshi is a prediction market: you buy contracts that pay $1 if something happens, and Kalshi charges a fee on each trade. So that its prices compare fairly with the sportsbooks', we show what a Kalshi bet costs including that fee: the lowest price currently on offer plus our estimate of Kalshi's taker fee (7% × price × (1 − price) per contract, rounded up to the cent, from Kalshi's published fee schedule). It's an approximation: Kalshi rounds the fee on a whole order rather than per contract, so larger orders can work out slightly cheaper, and Kalshi can change its fees. That's also why our Kalshi prices are usually a cent or two above what Kalshi's own screen shows.

SharpModels ratings

For the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB we show win probabilities and team ratings from SharpModels, a rating system built on decades of results, and for the Premier League its win, draw and loss probabilities. We use it as a benchmark: a price built purely from team ratings, set next to the betting market. When the two differ, the gap is shown in points (model win % minus the market's no-vig win %), the same way the weekly SharpModels vs Market articles do it. Ratings don't see injuries, suspensions or lineup changes, so a big gap often has a good reason behind it. It's a starting point for a question, not a tip.

Futures

Futures (title winners, conference and division winners, making the playoffs, season win totals, MVP and other awards) come from DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, BetRivers and Kalshi (not every book offers every market), checked every hour; we've kept every futures price change since 23 October 2026. Futures carry much bigger margins than game lines, so next to the best price we show the market's chance with the margin taken out ("no-vig"): each sportsbook's chances are raised to the same power so the field adds up to 100%, which takes more of the margin off longshots than off favorites, then averaged across books. Kalshi is left out of that figure because its 1¢ minimum price holds every longshot at 1% or more. For the NFL and NBA we also show SharpModels' chances from simulating the rest of the season on its team ratings: the same benchmark as above, not a tip.
