How it works

American to decimal

Plus odds: 1 + odds ÷ 100, so +150 is 2.50. Minus odds: 1 + 100 ÷ odds (ignoring the sign), so -110 is 1.909. Decimal odds are the total payout per $1, stake included.

Decimal to American

2.00 or more: (decimal − 1) × 100, so 2.50 is +150. Under 2.00: −100 ÷ (decimal − 1), so 1.80 is -125. Even money is +100 (or -100; they're the same price).

Fractional odds

The profit per unit staked, used in the UK and Ireland: 5/2 wins $5 for every $2, which is +250 or 3.50. Here they're shown as the simplest fraction within half a cent of the price, so -110 shows as 10/11.

Implied probability

1 ÷ decimal odds: how often a bet must win to break even. The implied probabilities of every side of a sportsbook market add up to more than 100%; the excess is the vig. The no-vig calculator takes it out.
