Privacy policy
Last updated October 26, 2026. Short version: no accounts, no ads, no selling data, and Google Analytics cookies only if you say yes.
No accounts
BetSharp has no sign-up and doesn't ask for your name, email or any other personal details.
Cookies and Google Analytics
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing from Google loads until you click Accept.
- If you accept, we load Google Analytics, a service from Google LLC that tells us how many people visit, which pages they use, roughly where they are (country and city) and what kind of device and browser they have. To do that, your browser sends Google your IP address and details of the pages you view, and Google sets cookies named
_gaand_ga_…that recognise your browser on later visits. They last up to two years. - If you reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics never loads and no Google cookies are set.
- Either way we save your answer in a cookie named
bsConsentfor one year, so the banner doesn't keep asking.
You can change your mind at any time with (also in the footer). Rejecting removes the Google Analytics cookies from this site. We don't use Google Analytics for advertising, and we don't link it to anything that identifies you. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy; you can also use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Counting visits
We run our own simple visit counter so we know which pages people use. When a page loads, your browser tells our server:
- which page you opened,
- the website that linked you here, if any (just the site name, like google.com),
- whether you're on a phone or a larger screen,
- and which odds format you have selected.
To count each visitor once a day, the server combines your IP address and browser type with a random value that changes every day, and keeps only a scrambled code made from them. The IP address itself is never stored, and because the daily value is thrown away, the code can't be linked to you or to your visits on other days. This data stays on our own server; no analytics company sees it. (This counter is separate from Google Analytics and sets no cookies.)
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted at all.
Settings saved in your browser
If you choose American, decimal or percentage odds, or pick the sportsbooks you use with the Books button, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. Your choice of books never leaves your device; the odds format is only included in the visit count described above. Clearing your browser's site data removes both.
Server logs
Like most websites, our server software can keep short-term technical logs (such as the time of a request, the page and your IP address) to keep the site running and secure. They aren't used for anything else.
Other companies
Apart from Google Analytics, if you accept it, pages don't load anything from other companies: fonts and scripts are served from our own server. We don't run ads or ad trackers, and we never sell data or share it beyond Google Analytics as described above. Links to other sites, such as SharpModels, are covered by those sites' own privacy policies.
Children
BetSharp is meant for adults of legal betting age and isn't directed at anyone under 21.

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
