Implied is the chance the best price works out to; it still includes that book's margin, and futures margins are much bigger than on game lines. No-vig is the market's chance with the margin taken out: each sportsbook's chances are raised to the same power, chosen so the whole field adds up to 100%, then averaged. That takes more of the margin off longshots than off favorites, unlike simply scaling every chance down by the same share (Kalshi is left out: its 1¢ minimum price holds every longshot at 1% or more).
